Football Manager Has Run Out Of Memory And Will Quit Now

I re-installed FM08 last night, i had it on my PC before since it was released but un-installed it due to a bit of boredom.

I re-installed it and when i launch it, just as it's loading a new game this message appears "Football Manager Has Run Out Of Memory And Will Quit Now". i un-installed and re-installed twice, same thing happens

The thing that is bugging is that my comp has more memory now than it did when i last had it on my PC, and at that point i had selected 6 different playable leagues and the large database, and now i'm only selecting 2 playable leagues and the small database oO)

Any help at all is much appreciated.

Have you been fiddling around with the virtual memory settins on your pc?

Hmm, i may have, i know how to get about my PC but i think i might have...******, i'll go check it out and see what happens..

Edit : .. Yeah i had set the Virtual Memory to minimum requirements, i re-set it to 800MB as the maximum....that be enough, i have just over 1,800MB
