Football Manager Online Season Help!!!

Have a problem, whenever we both turn the game off and he saves the game the next time we wanna play it wont let me sign in as me but instead i have to be a new manager, anyone know how the game will let me log in as me instead of having to start again?

go to the game status screen and click on not connected next to your name and it will give you th eoption to connect as that manager
