Football manager update

My football manager has a update, but my game isn't updating, so I can't play football manager can anyone help

with a bit more info yep. what version are you on> pc/mac? which database? which update is erroring? is it a steam error or pc error?

I'm on windows laptop and i was playing fm and it crashed when to play it again and it say update required, I go to click play and it's not playing coming up with a error message say no internet connection
