football manger 2011 11.1.1f158038 has stopped working

i keep getting this error messgae every time i make subs in my game, i havnt got a clue what to do, ive un installed my game then re installed it, even tried through steam and it still doesnt work. im not that clued up on specs of pcs but ive played footy manager on the same pc since 2007 and never had any problems, can any1 please help because ive had the game since launch day and still cant play on it,
