West Ham United Recieve Formal Bid For Club

View attachment 140708

West Ham United have been offered a large sum of money by a group of American Buisnessmen to purchase the shares held by CB Holding ltd (35%) currently in control of the club. It is belived that the Americans Warren Jackson and Jordan Peters are looking to gain control by buying out the shares of CB Holding ltd and the minority investors which hold around 3% with Sullivan (30.6%) and Gold (30.6%) unlikely to sell their shares

It is also alledged that director Karen Brady has pledged her support to the takeover by joining forces with the Americans to gain majority control. The team of Brady, Jackson and Peters is being put forward under the name of CutCO the name of the multi-billion dollar company owned by the Americans. Karen Brady refused to comment this morning when asked outside the clubs board room but did say that "things are moving forward for West Ham."

Irons fans seem to have mixed views on the takeover, some happy that decent investment will be put into the team, others dis-pleased to see the club sell out. For the sceptics of the deal, they should know that sources speculate the move will open up a large transfer budget for the manager of the club to "heavily" invest in the future of the club.

Avram Grant Walks

View attachment 140786

With CutCO's takeover move looking ever more likely Avram Grant has walked away from West Ham United. Grant was only recently appointed a month ago, but has said he has worked under a big takeovers before and doesn't want the stress of the job.

Grant of course managed Chelsea for a short time after their takeover, he reached the Champions Cup final and Won the FA Cup but was still removed from his post. Grant also had a spell at Portsmouth, where the takeover deals were frequent, but the debts remained in the circus that was Portsmouth F.C.

With an announcement likely to be made within the next few days over the takeover bid, Grant has left the West Ham United door open for a new manager, and this looks like a job many a man would consider, the bookies have already released their first set of odds.

Cut-CO Enterprises Confirms West Ham United Takeover

View attachment 140815

West Ham United can confirm today the takover of the club by the Cut-CO bid. The bid consisted of Warren Jackson and Jordan Peters buying out the 35% majority shares held by the Icelandic bank alongside Karen Brady offering her shares in with the Americans.

This still meant that Sullivan and Gold owned the club at 61.2% conjoined until Sullivan also joined with Cut-CO to take the ownership of the club to 68.6%. This bold move makes Jackson, Peters, Sullivan and Brady chairmans of the club with David Gold below them as a director on the board.

Sullivan joined his shares with the Americans after his dis-agreement with Gold making all the decision regarding the club. Gold now left red faced as his beloved West Ham slipped through his fingers this morning, but will continue to serve on the board.

All debts associated with West Ham United have been cleared.

The new West Ham United owners first job will to be to find a replacement for Avram Grant who walked a few days ago.

Geoff Hurst Appointed West Ham United Manager

View attachment 140820

West Ham United and England legend Sir Geoff Hurst has been appointed as the new hammers manager under the new board.

Geoff Hurst remembered for his hatrick against West Germany in the 1966 World Cup final banged in over 200 league goals for West Ham during his time at the Irons.

Hurst has been told by the new owners that he has £35,000,000 to spend on new players, that the training facilities are being improved aswell as the youth facilities. Geoff Hursts reign signals a new era for the club as West Ham look to re-live the glory days of years past.

Hurst himself has spoke of how excited he is for West Ham's future and wanted to play a role in it, a key factor in his decision to become manager of the club.

Hurst And Dyer Bust Up

View attachment 140866

Keiron Dyer and new manager at the helm Hurst, have had a falling out over the attempted mutual termination of his contract suggested by the Gaffer.

Sir Geoff Hurst met with Dyer this morning to talk about the possibility of terminating Dyers contract after no clubs appeared interested in signing the injury prone midfielder.

Dyer took badly to the news and stormed out of the boardroom leaving Hurst to ponder what to do next, Hurst wants rid of Dyer as he is costing the club too much money to keep, he has ran up large medical bills with numerous injuries and sits on the sidelines with a £70,000 a week contract.

Dyer looks set to leave the club but is holding out for the £3,000,000 pay out that he would be entitled to should his contract be terminated by West Ham United, rather than accept the mutual termination fee of £1,500,000.

only a suggestion.......with the amount of strikers you have, would it be a good idea to cash in on carlton cole and bring in a top quality striker. Thus when obina and keane loan expires, you'll still have a beast strikeforce?

the beauty of keane and obinna is that i dont need to play them, they are backup, i am signing in one striker, and keeping cole as i only play 1 striker...

this leaves, New Striker, Cole next season, as keano and obinna will go and will move piquonne next season, meaning sears and hines will provide more backup after there year out on loan....

the tactic will use demba ba as a wide striker :)

thankyou for your input though its good to see you reading :)

Dyer Relief As He Joins Sunderland

View attachment 141633

Kieron Dyers nightmare under Sir Geoff Hurst has come to an end today as he was sold onto Sunderland for a fee of around £2,000,000. The move comes shortly after Dyer was asked to terminate his contract but instead demanded £3,000,000 for his deal.

Dyer moves to the Black Cats taking a massive pay cut to £42,000 a week, roughly £30,000 less than on his £70,000 a week deal at West Ham under the conditions that his former club pay him £7,000 a week for a year.

This means that West Ham will shed out just over £350,000 to Dyer over the coming year, still relishing a profit of around £1,500,000.

Also in West Ham news today, striker Zavon Hines, defender Jordan Spence and midfielder Junior Stanislas have all left the clubs on loan.

Hines > Leeds
Stanislas > Bolton
Spence > Bristol City

West Ham Clear Out Five Players In One Day

West Ham United manager Sir Geoff Hurst has made history today by selling five players of his squad in one day, a record for players leaving their club in twenty four hours.

The first of the West Ham casualties is Boa Morte, the winger has struggled with fitness recently and with Hurst removing all the dead weight, his shifted a big load of it their in many fans opinions. West Ham have recieved a reported £1,700,000 from Cataina, and fans on the other end of the scale couldnt be happier with the deal.

Manuel da Costa has been moved to Germany joining titans Stuttgart for a fee of £3,000,000. da Costa never looked settled at Upton Park and after being placed on Hursts famous "cut list" he felt that a move to Germany was the right decision.

Fans at Upton Park are pleased that West Ham have managed to get £4,500,000 for midfielder Spector as he joins Liverpool, a few commented that had the takeover not have gone through, they wouldnt be happy about selling players, but with Hammers fans looking beyond surviving in the Premiership they are very happy with this price.

Benni McCarthy has moved to Newcastle for £1,000,000 after failing to drop the weight required by Hursts minimum expectancy. No suprises that many fans havent winked an eye over this transfer.

Finally, Herita Illunga has moved on from a pretty woeful West Ham career, Foxes manager Sven Goran Errickson targeted the player last year and finally got his man now, but had to pay the price of £2,200,000 for the pleasure.

With Hurst making around £14,000,000 from players and being given a £30,000,000 transfer budget by the new owners, he will now be expected to invest into his side. With £40,000,000 to spend it will be interesting to see who the hammers sign, but Hurst has said he will not be forced into the market....

"We have a good squad here, a big squad even with so many players departure, if the deal is right for the value, then we will happily invest, but as far as bringing in 6 or 7 players goes that wont be happening. The main thing we need to do is gel the players quickly, ill be looking for around 3-4 players, no neccessarly first teamers, but we want to build a squad here without upsetting the balance" - Sir Geoff Hurst

West Ham Reveal Blockbuster Moves

West Ham United fans have waited patiently a full week for Geoff Hurst to invest in the club and invest he has.

The hammers proudly unveiled the signings of Vagner Love and Cristian Zapata this morning and the reaction has been electric. Irons fans turned up in their drobes to get a look at the two new signings who are thought to propell a new era for West Ham United.

Vagner Love who played for CSKA Moscow is still only 26 years old and has bags of potential, his £9,500,000 move to West Ham has been described as the turn of the Hammers club.

Cristian Zapata is a highly rated centre back applying his trade in Serie A for many years under Udinese. Not only is he highly rated, but highly priced, costing West Ham £11,000,000 a club record.

With news of the possible signing of Charlie Adam on the horizon, it really is a good time to support the irons.

West Ham Miss Out On Saviola & Adam Deals
Reports indicate that new manager Geoff Hurst made attempts to sign Javier Saviola and Charlie Adam to his club this week as West Ham struggle to bring in new talents.

A fee of £6,000,000 was offered to Blackpool FC for their creative midfielder Adam, but Holloway says whilst he respects Hurst and the formal way he went about his offer, but will not be letting a top player like Adam go so easily.

Negotiations have been continuing on the front of Javier Saviola, an intial offer of £5,000,000 was offered to provide a partner for their new signing. Benfica rejected the offer asking for more and so a £10,000,000 offer was made only to be turned down again.

"As i said before, i wont be bullied into transfers i don't feel are worth the clubs investment, Saviola and Adam are great players, but i need to realistically value them and not go over board with the money given to me" - Geoff Hurst

West Ham United Pre-Season Review

With West Ham United first game just four days away the pre-season round up for the Hammers has been published for your viewing pleasure.

Transfers In

West Ham were expected to heavily invest in the transfer market this summer, but as of yet have only brought in two players, Cristian Zapata & Vagner Love. Zapata is a young strong centre back who is set to shine at the club and act as Matthew Upsons protege. Vagner Love on the other hand will have to battle the other strikers at the club for the 1 striker position as Hurst annoucned he will be going with a 4-5-1 on the clubs website. Vagner battles out with; Cole, Piquionne, Keane, Obinna & Ba. There is still time for Hurst to bring in some players but no signs of that at the moment.

Transfers Out

The Hammers let go of six of the first team players this year, signalling changes in the way they want to play their football. No body will disagree with any of the sales of what was considered dead weight at Upton Park. Dyer was eating up a huge amount of the wage bill for no good reason, Benni McCarthy doesnt have the fitness of a footballer and Spector was never going to hit the big time. Making over £13,000,000 from their sales the irons can sit back and be proud of a productive and ecouraging transfer window.

Friendlies

Apart from their narrow loss against Atalanta (1-2) The Hammers were unbeaten in their pre-season preperation, banging in the goals and holding a tight shift at the back. Perhaps the most impressive of the pre-season results came at FC Twente where the hammers won convincingly 3-0.

West Ham kick off their season away to Wigan.
