Personally I really don't care, I think people just need to quit whining and move on. I mean really, this is the internet, the moderators cannot control how people type about each sentence. I mean if we are going all out to be picky, may as well ban people for using improper grammar and stuff like that. There's a thing call freedom, you have a choice to read or not read, and if you don't want to read "Text" posts, then don't read them, it's not like your life will be harmed or offened by this.

No, you dont have to read a post, but what if that post contains some information that I really want? Should I write a second post asking for the same thing?

There is a difference between improper grammar and just mindless "txt-talk". I dont think that "any1" and "wuz" counts as a misspelled word. Some people dont speak english fluently and might have a hard time understanding some of the posts.

As far as your thoughts about kicking someone out of the forum goes, I believe that there is a point-system here and five points for "txt-talk".

Well, according to someone here, since people who type "Text" talks are stupid or lack intelligence, then there post should not have any good information then right?
And I just don't think Mods as busy as they are can control such little issue like this all the time, we have a lot of important things can use, such as foul language and people posting offensive things to noobs and stuff that can actually offend someone. While I do agree some of these txt languages are pretty bad, I am sure if you ask that person to type it in a more formal language, they will do so. And if not, I guess they just don't like you then. But really, it's hyprocritical for people to call "Texters" unintelligent, and yet they are insulting people over the internet... It's like special Olympics, even if you win an arguement over the internent, you are still mentally challanged... Anyways, I understand your point, and I don't like Txt language too, but it's part of internet these days sadly, and I guess we just have to live with it.

Yes but not all the users on this forum are english nationals and english is not there first language so everyone should be speaking in the queens english

How on earth can you say that it takes far less time to write that way? I have never conquered the skill

Obviously we do try and clamp down on it as it's annoying for everyone to read apart from the pea-brained ones. It's just that it's hard for us to read every thread. It would be great if you lot could report the post if you see a post like that (click the red exclamation mark icon).

I was just going to say that, these people are obviously interested in making posts and playing Fm as well, apart from having their own life. So I think it's a great idea to report the post.

Or you can take the extra 4 seconds for a post that small and type correctly.

Thread closed issue has been resolved and it could get out of hand with arguements
