I'll be following. Stoke are my local team. Can't believe you managed get 7M for Dave Kitson! In my second season with Stoke I managed bring in Jo who scored for fun for me.

Cheers, depending on my transfer budget next season I'm gonna sell big so I can bring in my type of players. I like Jo and I will need a striker so I'll look at him thanks.

I would like to make my story as interactive as possible so anyone following the story can have some influence on my decisions ( especially transfers) in my game. To get the ball rolling, can anyone suggest a attacking midfielder who would be interested in joining Stoke. I have £1.5 million left to spend. Any help would be appreciated.:D

Sergio Canales or Marco Verratti

You seem to be getting the best out of Tuncay scoring ability which isn't so easy to do in the FM games :P

Cheers everyone! I like Sergio Canales may move for him in summer. Kozak, I'm playing Tuncay as a poacher alongside an advanced forward and I'm suprised myself about his form. His stats aren't great .

Well done woth some great signings! I'll be keeping my eye ut on this story!

Good: I'm really pleased to take Villa to a replay and also with my away wins against Blackburn and Fulham.
Bad: Losing to Everton at home and conceding so many at Anfield.
Summary
I'm really happy with how my first season is going, 39 points from 29 games!

He is quality in the attacking midfield role too but you have Buoanotte there too.

March 2010 Update

(FA Cup 5th Round)
Stoke 2-0 Aston Villa
(Tuncay x 2)
(FA Cup 6th Round)
Arsenal 3-0 Stoke:'(
(Bendtner, Vela, van Persie)
Stoke 0-3 Chelsea
(Drogba, Ballack, Anelka)
Stoke 2-0 Bolton
(Addison, Ba)
Wigan 2-3 Stoke

Traore in 93rd minute !
Good: Beating Aston Villa in FACUP! Winning "that game could have gone either way" games e.g. Bolton and Wigan. Also, seeing Traore and Tuncay keep Ba out of the side.
Bad: Losing to Arsenal in FACUP :'(.
Summary
I'm sitting in a very comfortable position, I want to finish the season strongly so to receive high prize money for my finishing position. I'm also delighted with Traore's form. I've uploaded my finances so anyone can have a look if there interested.

impressive season so far keep up the good work and keep us updated

Doing well mate I finished 13th in my 1st season.
With hindsight, I would have sold some of the deadwood earlier but as I was buying youngsters I didn't want to change things too much.
You got some cracking prices for the players you sold and your finances (and league position) are a lot better than mine were!!!

How do you play Traore as I never managed to get the best out of him unfortunately!

Cheers Joshb. Zidave, its complicated because I play an advanced forward and a poacher. So if its Tuncay and Troare start, Troare playes advanced forward role but if its Ba and Traore start, Troare plays poacher role. However, he is much more successful when playing alongside Tuncay. Buonanotte(trequartista) seems to assist most of his goals.

April and May 2010 Update
Stoke finish well to come 10th
The last 2 months of the premiership season only contained six fixtures for Stoke. West Ham, Wolves, Portsmouth and Man United all welcomed Stoke to their respective stadiums. Meanwhile, Stoke welcomed Hull City and Sunderland to the Brittania.
West Ham 2-0 Stoke
(Noble, Cole)
Wolves 1-1 Stoke
(Doyle)(Buonanotte)
Stoke 4-2 Hull City

Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba !!!!
Stoke 1-1 Sunderland
(Fleck)(Delap)
Porstmouth 1-1 Stoke
(Nugent)(Traore)
Man Utd 2-0 Stoke
(Berbatov, Rooney)
Good: Not a great finish to the season but I really enjoyed Ba's hat-trick
Bad: Losing to West Ham:@ and throwing away points against Wolves, Sunderland and Portsmouth
Summary
A poor finish to the season by squad's high standards. I've finished 10th with 51 points which is very pleasing.

Season Summary to come !!

Great season finishing 10th!!
How did Glenn Whelan do for you? He is still a regular in my team 4 seasons in.
You should get a decent transfer budget in 2nd season as well. Should be able to push for Europe!!

Plus, Wolves became a right bogey team for me always taking points away!!

Cheers mate, thanks for the support! Glenn has had injury problems this season so his apperances were limited. When he played he was good.... I'm considering selling him.

Transfer Update
Tuncay Joins Bayern, Whilst Foster Initiates Ruthless Removal.
Stoke Manager Foster will have suprised and upset many Potters fans by selling free scoring Tuncay to Bayern Munich for £9.5 million. Tuncay, who scored several vital goals last year is 28 so Foster felt it was important to cash in before his value declines. Meanwhile, Lyon raided Stoke for experienced defenders Danny Collins and Abdoulaye Faye for £5 million and £3 million respectively. The other two players to venture into Europe are George Ogararu to Hoffenheim(£4m) and Ibrihima Sonko to Grenoble for(£2m). On a domestic front, Dean Whitehead has joined Burnley for £3.5 million and the unsuccessful Tom Soares has joined Wolves for £1.8 million. Finally, Amdy Faye and Steve Simonsen have left the club on free transfers.
Foster hasn't yet equalled the clubs incomings with his outgoings, despite the free signing of 29 year old centre back Nicolas Burdisso from Internazionale, the only signings Foster has made so far is the young transfer listed goalkeeper Joe Hart from Man City for £1.7 million. The promising shot stopper was on loan at Birmingham last year.

After all of Stoke's sales, The stoke Chairman has provided a generous £27 million transfer budger to be spent on new employees..... who to buy?

Joe Hart is a great signing! He has been brilliant for me in 3 seasons, is English and has only had 1 or 2 eccentric moments as he is rated 18 I think.
I am just trying to sell Soares 4 seasons in.
Tuncay will leave on a free so doing the right thing there. Look at James Rodriguez at Inter. Canales too.

How are your full backs?Mine were **** hence the big money on Ansaldi & Renan.

Yeah gutted I couldn't get Mattock he is at Juventus in my save averaging nearly 8.00
