Mexes Signs For Arsenal

mex.jpg

Today it was announced former Roma defender Phillipe Mexes has agreed a 4 year deal with the london club. The fee has been undisclosed but reports in Italy reveal the deal is worth around 18m with the capacity to increase to 21m. This is Frankie's first signing and will also break the transfer record for the north london club.

He should be a great signing Frankie. He will work wonders at the back. :)

Top signing Frankie, just what Arsenal need (except for a backup DM for Song and another striker lol)
I will be following, probably :P

Im guna follow this.Great idea and Mexes is a quality signing:D

Great idea for a story mate should be tough but good fun aswell. Mexes is a quality signing there and I assume you needed another CB. Are there any other areas of the squad you will look to improve?

Ouch Frankie...as if you don't use my db

Updates later, gotta do a bit of coursework...

I'm not following this ****.
Only joking mate sounds awesome.

And I know how you feel, I'm "doing coursework" now (H)

There is nothing worse than coursework. Luckily I have good friends and an enviable brain. I just "borrow" peoples coursework and then alter it to make it seem like mine :) I hate typing up things
I got 7 pages of Business Studies coursework done in 2 hours and the teacher doesn't suspect a thing.

Anyway back on topic, how much do you have left for transfers? Mexes is a top signing but you are probably going to have to sell players if you want to bring in another player of his quality

Well, Henry or Chamakh look possiblilities. And Bendnter will be on his way out on loan hopefully.

Great Start From The Gooners

Arsenal got past Sao Paulo today in the World League opener with relative ease. There were three new signings on show, with Frankie buying Chamakh and Paddy V returning to where he belongs. 2-1 it finished, with Sao Paolo getting a consolation in the second half, it looked like they could sneak a point. But Arsenal, who had taken a two goal lead, through goals from Arshavin and Vermaelen, held firm to notch their first win of the campaign

Hehe, Zenit at Home then Lyon Away. Should be 4 Points (H)

With the perfect tactic you'll be unstoppable! :P

Not nice seeing Cap'n Cesc scoring an own goal :S But good result nevertheless.

I'll live in hope... Just loaned Vela to Fiorentina (H)

Arsenal were simply brilliant, they opened the scoring in the first minute, and from then on, looked like they could get 100. Arshavin was the pick of the men as Arsenal stroll past a relegation threatened Zenit.
