If you load just one league (i.e continue your demo quick start of England), and then decide to add/remove custom leagues, that take effect at the end of the season, the game will generate leading championship/decent premiership players for a host of La Liga clubs that will allow the players to leave on free transfers during the july window. This does however change in early august as the clubs value the players higher and the players start to go to clubs such as Juventus.
Simply search for Transfer Listed Players> Based in Spain> Asking Price is no more than £0.
All you have to be able to do is afford wages between £9000 p/w and £23000 p/w (depending on the quality of the player). The best generated player I saw went from Atletico Madrid to Juventus for free, with no wage increase!
Hope this works for everyone as well as it worked for me!
p.s. there were a handful from France also, but the majority were in spain.
