There are two kind of cup tournaments in the Ligue 1 simular to the cups in the English Premier League. The first half of the season has the Coupe de la Ligue, simular to the English League Cup. The second half has the French Cup, like the English FA Cup.
It's my third season at PSG now (2016-2019) but this is the first season I'm actually playing in the French Cup. I competed in the Coupe de la Ligue every season but I never played in the French Cup before.
Does anyone know why this is?
