Hey guys!
For the past month, I have worked a lot on this hypothetical American League called; America Premier League. The inspiration for this project was done by Patrick Cummings, a graphic designer out in Indiana who is the creator of the Indy Eleven Crest. http://www.i.imgur.com/dBWJ0Xu.png He started a project a few years ago called "America League". The general idea behind it at the time was to see what the USA Soccer Structure would be like if this was the most popular sport in the country. He created a three tier system that included a lot of locations throughout the country, added in a lot of the history, and created the kits and logos for every team. This obviously took a lot of time and his website, http://www.pcgdstudios.com has all of the information about the project.
So, what have I done with this project? Well, as a senior in High School who was already into college, I took it upon myself to recreate this league within Football Manager 2013. I have rarely worked with the editor before, so I am not very good. I also believe that I may have gone too deep and screwed up some of the vital qualifications for the continental cups. Regardless, on the USA level, I have made a league that is working while looking and feeling like a regular FM league. However, there are some problems. I don't have the exact reputations/finances correct for each team, I don't have the 2nd or 3rd tier completed, and it is still a very rough outline. I started working on this with people from Reddit's /r/footballmanagergames subreddit. There were two individuals who created the kits while I created all of the logos. I also did some of the coding so that I could then implement them into the game.
But why am I posting this here? Because this is a forum where I have spent a lot of time looking for a realistic USA league. I wanted to try something that had actual promotion and relegation and I wanted to have some fun. I never could find something really authentic, but with this project, I feel like we do have something. I have talked to Patrick Cummings and he was ecstatic over the idea that I took his idea and made it into a game, his only condition being that I could never make a profit off of his work. Obviously, I never will. Now, there is also another reason why I posted on this forum. I want to have the community here help me with this project. I think that this is something that is interesting to a lot of people, and I can't do this on my own. It has taken me an entire month to get where I am now, so I feel that with more dedicated individuals, this thing can be entirely done within another month or two.

Here is a Club Sign-up Sheet where you can claim a club to design.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...wcnM4X2c#gid=0
For the Club Creation Sign-up Sheet, what you would do is
1. Open up the 13.3.0 Database.
2. Create the Club that you have chosen from the sign-up sheet
3. Save the database.
4. Upload the file in a comment
From there, I will download the database and merge it with the more complete one. This way, the tedious work is divided up and the project can move along much faster.
I would like to thank everyone in advance for simply reading this and acknowledging it. If you decide to contribute to this project, I will be forever grateful and your contributions will be noted in the database file.
