I'm using tuggs training remade for FM11.

I have FMscout and it tells me a lot of my players have another 15 or 25 to go before they are peaking some of them have a around 40 to 60.
The most annoying thing about this is I have strikers still not going over 15 for finishing and certain players pace not peaking past 15-16 when FMscout tells me it should be at least in some cases be two notches higher than what It currently is.
(My squad is a young squad oldest player is 28)

All my training stars are at "4 stars" with only Shooting at 3 and a half.
Can someone PLEASE sort this out for me as I have promising youngsters with a POT A: Of 170 In some cases. (pablo sabria for instance stats not improved for half a season)

I have my tactics sorted and my team talks sorted now it's time to get them trainng correctly then this game cant ***** at me for missing something out and I will have moaning rights for the future! :D

Stop relying on innacurate scouting tools and play the game properly would be my only advice.

I'm using Ian C's training and it works wonders. Alexis Sanchez has at the moment the majority of his attributes increasing. Would show a screenshot but am at Uni at the mo.

Only training schedules I've used and they always seem to work fine for me.

How long have you used that training program mate?

2 months Joe, I was at least hoping to see one or two of my key players have at least one notch added to their awesome.

@Jake, FMscout not accurate then?

@King sid, Ill look in to that traing Ill do a search on google.

It's not just the stars, make sure the coaches' workload is as light as possible (you'll probably need to hire more coaches to do that)

Also, quality of training and youth facilities plays a big part, maybe yours are not that good?

Finally, players' morale is also very important: keep your players happy (maybe use private chats) and they'll have a better chance to improve.

and try and make your own schedules :) get at least 4.5 stars, make sure your training is on light and that you have enough coaches...

promote some youth coaches if your board wont allow you to bring in more....

Pablo Sarabia does not really increase that much in stats for some reason :) I take it you are Real? if you are, you need to get coaches like these.....

None of the scouting tools are accurate enough to rely on them as heavily as you are. The best one i have seen is Scoutmeister, but it's still in beta and isn't 11.3 compatible.

I don't mean to criticise, but for me, finding players and helping them to reach their peak is one of the most satisfying parts of the game, to do this i often find and buy lots of players who fail as well.

I'm sure if i knew the exact PA of every player i had purchased i would soon get bored of the game.

As for training, a lot of your players are still young, and the final few attribute ability points are not achieved until the player is in their late 20's in my experience. Also if you have retrained a player to a new position, he won't reach his PA.

ok, I don't use tugs training or anyone else's homemade, IMO the best thing you can do is take a subjective view on each individual player and make your own training schedule for him. Plus, you should easily be able to get your fitness and aerobics up to 4.5, maybe 5 stars as well as your tactics and ball control. If you need help finding these coaches then Hellrokers thread should help.

Are you tutoring your players at the same time that they are on their own custom schedules? If not I suggest you start applying this too with the correct candidates. I could help you out on this area a bit more if I knew which team you were. You want their finishing to go up, bump shooting practice up to 20 notches in training and give them an individual specialisation on finishing (then composure when you think its high enough).

Also, by the time they're 19 they really need to be either getting regular first team football either on loan from a promotion fighting league one side - a championship side minimum. Otherwise at least 20 sub appearances for your own side in any competition.

futhermore, I take it you understand the ins and outs of how the training works?

Courteousy of Fantastic on Los Wonderkids:

"There are 25 clicks on the sliders, therefore 26 positions.

Click number 7 or position number 8 is the level at which attributes will be maintained. From click number 7 or position number 8 each increase of 3 clicks shows up ingame as an increase in the bar height for the training level of that area.

Click number 13 or position 14 is the level at which attributes will begin to increase, and click number 19 or position 20 is where attributes will no longer increase in size but only increase in speed.

Understanding this very basic concept is the key to developing training schedules and if you do get these simple mechanics you should begin to understand why it is necessary to tailor training for each players.

Using Tug's training as an example, you may notice that the schedules are overly general in some areas, I'm sure you can agree that understanding the logic that 8 maintains, 14 improves and 20 is where it stops improving, there should never be any need for you to train above slider position 20 (except in pre-season) and should never, in my opinion, be any middle ground. It should be at 8, 14 or 20 (and only above 20 during pre-season).

Specifically, what would be the necessity in having a player with high physical attributes using up valuable workload space improving beyond 14, when you could use that space to intensify training in his weaker areas."

Combine that with Matralux's training masterclass and there isn't a lot more you need to know really. One last thing, don't bother asking them to learn PPMs directly yourself, wait until they're older. If after all that, your players don't improve, they just aren't cut out for it mate sorry.

P.S, Following all the steps I've given you, I've turned some of the most god awful 16 year old regens from the academy into very decent premiership footballers, despite my coaches saying they'd never be above 1 star.

Also, listen to your coaches - if one of your players "isn't training well", ask him to start pushing it in training or you'll give him the boot. It's also very important to have them tutored. Tutors can make a huge difference in a player's stats.

I don't know in which league are you playing, but I find playing in some lower reputation league(like Croatia's) is more exciting, even to get your youth prospects up and running as great players. Why? Because you can buy a massive amount of youngsters and when you get a really good squad(my now is as good as Villareal's) you can just give them first-team experience when you play league/cup games so that you can rest your main players. This is really useful.

Im leeds united third season.
