Farfan=Game changer.

Excellent comeback from Schalke but Mainz just fell away, couldn't withstand the first half tempo for 90 minutes.

Why didn't Schalke just start with Farfán?

7 dribbles in 1 half and a pass accuracy of 96%, wow

Farfan was injured and Ralf Rangnick said he is only fit for 45 min. This is why he came in after the half-time.

Great match by Schalke tonight in the Europa League...

Won 6-1... I did expect 3-4 goals, but this was utterly amazing :D

Hamburg leading Cologne by 3 goals to 2. With Rajkovic scoring on his debut. And it looks like Mario Gomez will be banging in the goals again this season, he's got all 3 goals for Bayern vs. Kaiserslautern so far.

The transfer period is over. Last transfer updates for Schalke:
Mario Gavranovic joins Mainz on loan.
Edu joints Besiktas on loan.
Teemu Pukki joins Schalke from HJK Helsinki.

Last season gladbach was always bottom(ish) and this season (so far) theyve been top(ish)

Its so ******* annoying. Why the **** isn't Perisic playing from the beginning. He had more actions in 1 minute against Berlin as Kuba had in 60 Minutes. Gündogan absolutely awful. Its kind of scary how much Nuri Sahin is missing in our team.

Mario Gomez scored 4 goals. He has scored 11 goals already and people thought they could have got him for 15 ******* million..

Ribery AND schweinsteiger was class. His passing, dribbling and finsihing was out of this world. Schweinsteiger is starting to get his form back now,he was all over the place.

Puuki raped Schalke in Europa, no wonder they tried getting him.

Very happy for 'Gladbach, they have a good squad and are a traditional club, a former powerhouse, and it's nice to see them do well.

And I remind you that you can watch Bundesliga highlights on the Bundesliga official webpage.

65 minutes: We dominate the game. Kagawa finally strikes again. THEN
Großkreutz comes in... The whole game falls apart... Hannover attacking like ****. Then: Santana comes in for Hummels (!!). How arrogant is it to take out our best player this saison and best defender of the league if you're dominated by the enemy for 20 Minutes and Hannover is an excellent Counterattacking Team... So what happens? Yeah right 1:2 for Hannover. Its so annoying.

I read something about the Van Gaal-Effect... Klopp might be infected.

The many Schalke banners berating Neuer upon his return

On Sunday, Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer returned to his hometown to play against former club Schalke for the first time since his transfer to Bayern Munich. The move made fans of both clubs unhappy and one Schalke fan even slapped him in the face during the club's DFB Pokal parade last season. There were no physical assaults this time -- instead, an entire stadium full of bitter Schalke supporters showed Neuer how much they dislike him in banner form.

As you will soon see, the "Bayern embarrassing" handouts pictured above were almost compliments compared to some of the other words and drawings Neuer was faced with. Have a look...

That's Neuer as a transvestite prostitute. With his backside hanging out and what appears to be a, uh, stain on his dress. And if that image is too vague for you, this one should clear things up/haunt your nightmares...

Yep. That's Neuer going to town on Bayern chairman Uli Hoeness. And that's pretty much all I want to say about that.

The long banner hanging off the upper level of the stadium translates to "We mourn for M. Neuer - 2005-2011 -- resurrected as an unprincipled puppet." I think that actually hurts more than the pornographic cartoons.

And finally, we have a pair of banners get right to the point. They say: "Betray your origin for titles and money, Judas himself was more honorable." And then, just in case Neuer didn't feel like reading all that, someone held up a giant middle finger beneath that to get the same point across in a more succinct way.

And while Schalke fans held up their artwork and surrounded Neuer with their hate, he was busy keeping a clean sheet while his side took a 2-0 win to remain atop the Bundesliga with five wins and one loss in six matches. "Haters gonna hate," he probably thought after the final whistle. Except, you know, in German.

If I can say one thing about the German fans, they're creative as **** with their banners! Prozzy and blow jobs, think they got their feelings across to him!

They have the best atmosphere in whole of Europe.

After the defeat against Gladbach, Michael Oenning was sacked by Hamburg, becoming the first manager to lose his job in this season's Bundesliga.

Poor neuer, i think he'is really bored! 1 shot per game. Bayerns defence have really sorted out their problems from last season.
