whats mean clear cut chances?Is this when is player one on one with goalkeeper
 
that so unlucky for you man!! many shots doesn't mean that you will win the match. you should try different style of play in this kind of match. Encourage more long shot from midfield, quick striker will eventually try to win ball on rebound. If that doesn't work, maybe you should polish your strikers.
 
celtic had more chances to score : D,
think you need to relook your striker.
 
Its football i guess and it does happen in real life although not as much as it seems to in FM.
 
a Liverpool and Sunderland game a few years ago comes to mind
 
It's so satisfying when the team with a lot of shots and 0 goals is the AI's.
 
Well, when you see this happening, order your guys not to make long shots ...
 
Here are the rest of the match stats and i gues your right about the striker thing i had to play steven fletcher coz milevsky is ineligible i've also added my tactics to give u guys a better idea of how my team plays
 
Increase time wasting,your players will take there time more and fluff less chances.
 
Perhaps play more to the wings, it could be your men use the midfield too much and being outnumbered by defense opt to long shots, making them use the wings more may result in opening the opponent defense and your men daring to move into the area for more clear chances.
