Fulham's Phillippe Senderos injured

New Fulham signing, Phillipe Senderos ruptured an Achilles tendon and is likely to miss most of the season.

Looks like Fulham will need to invest in a new defender before the market closes.

He's been unfortunate in his career. Hope he recovers to be a good player for Fulham (or whoever they offload him to).

Bad new for Senderos but we've bought Rafik Halliche in on trial til the end of the week and he should sign soon so we will have adequate cover. Senderos is still young and will no doubt have a role to play at Fulham in the future.

Hope Senderos to recover as better as possible and Fulham to find a good replacement.
