Funny/Random things in FM2013

Absolutely gutted that I cannot seem to get a good striker. Managed to sign Llorente for 13 million from Barca as they replaced him with Cavani. Spent the remainder of my CL money on some defenders and then on the last day of the transfer window what happens? Real Madrid offer me Ronaldo for 27.5 milion. *sigh*

Most likely depends on your favourite club. I always select Newcastle (obviously) so people like Niall Quinn sometimes appear in my disliked list (though Steve Bruce is always in favourites, which is lame)

Yeah absolutely no chance. He wants 250k a week. Board isn't letting me go past 120k haha
 
I am 20 games into the season and my AML is now complaining that he is not getting enough 1st team action? he have played 14 out of the 20 games.
 
As if Hodgson's England somehow managing to win the 2014 World Cup (beating Ukraine 3-0 in the final) isn't strange enough.
Hodgson then promptly retires/dies due to glory poisoning and the FA unanimously decide that Alan Curbishley is the man to succeed him. Fresh from getting the axe at Fulham.

League Cup semi-final against my most hated rivals, high pressure game in which my team cannot afford red cards or anything like that. I use all 3 subs in normal time, 1 due to injury and the other two tactical. What happened in injury time was crazy, three injuries in quick succession forced me to see out the game with the classic 4-3-0 formation...

Incredibly I saw the 1-1 scoreline out and progressed 4-2 on penalties, still one of the most random matches I have had on FM13.
 
While managing Fc Edmonton in the NASL (Second division US league) I picked up a number of players on loan to get my team out of the cellar and it worked. Those players were Keith Makubuya (Toronto FC) and Tristan Jackman (TFC Academy). The match engine of 13.1.3 still suck, specially on Centre Back
and I have never goal by long shot so far.....
