I'm one of the few people who thinks the game actually gets more interesting the further in you go. I like it when you no longer recognise any of the top players and some teams have been promoted or relegated. I remember I had a game going around the time Michael Owen the hottest commodity in the league (must have been CM97 or something). By the time I stopped playing the game, he was manager of England. I find that stuff fascinating.
+1 on that. got my 03 game up to 2035. My fm10 game is currently on 2025..Pato retired and everything looks more interesting now.

Starting 2025. It gets interesting for me. There's some incredible regens, my former players becoming managers and wanting to be friends with me. lol. I also got Xavi and Iniesta as coaches at Madrid. (6)

2010. Always got bored of my team lol and wanted to start another game and kept doing that and till few days ago I was bored of FM for life, but I was always installing it when I got to reinstall my Windows. Anyway I gotta thanks to Pompey Dan for his Regional Challenge that made me play FM again.

FM 09. I reached 2034 with Atletico Madrid. I changed two full generations of players (from 16-17 to 30+). I lost save file though. What I wouldn't give to find it and continue with it just for the good old times.

I'm currently up to 11/10/2076. I have been playing this game practically for the last 3 years(Real Life) for a total of 78 days 6 hours and no I dont use holidays that is true playing time.

Yes I am addicted and I think 2009 is the best and I have'nt tried the newest yet.
