Hey,

I've holiday'd (sp?) through to the 2016/2017 season, and theres a crazy difference in player money, not being able to sign average players for less than 20-30 million, with not a vast increase on money from club. Even semi-decent 18/19 year olds are costing 10-15 million more than they do in the first few seasons.

Is this just because i went on holiday for that time?

Also, the further you go, i've noticed the more high PA players there are, i played one game to 2023 and there were 20+ players with over 190 PA, compared with the start were there are very few.

Has anyone else noticed this? And does anyone know if this is intended to be fixed in FM2011 ?



Edit: Forgot to mention, when making bids for my players, AI managers still rarely bid more than a couple mill over value, yet are expecting 20+ million for 5 million rated players.

having the problem with Giacomo Beretta in first season with Liverpool , He is only 17 years old and worth 1.5million and ac Milan are Wanting 30.5 million ! so annoying haha

the inflated prices in the future could be down to inflation or the weakening pound :) i wonder if fm takes this into account...

And yes i have also found that average players cant be had for less than double figures - i get quoted 25m for zammora and 15 for cattermole...
 
I think clubs asking too much for their players are their way of saying "**** off", if a club came in for your star player and it said that 'they were interested to talk' you cant reject for fear of upsetting so you give them a ridiculous price that they will refuse.

As with the inflated prices, I think that just comes with time, go back 20 years and £5 million pound signings were making headlines and breaking records, so go forward 10-15 years and it'll be the same thing. Just inflation

Except that your club's money and and budget isn't increasing proportionately. It is just a flaw in the game - it is not so easy to simulate a virtual economy after all.

If I get too annoyed, I will just give myself a foreground sugar daddy using FMRTE.
 
Arun, thats what im driving at. I understand inflation, but it doesnt work both ways in FM, getting a 12 million wage budget when cheaper premiership-class players are costing 18 mill , even the youngsters. Atleast inflate club income aswell!

i havnt found this at all. Im norwich in 2015 and struggling to find any decent regens to replace my aging squad.
Maybe it was just luck on your game??
 
All depends on how many leagues you have loaded at the start
 
This happens all the time, even in the first season. Maybe the managers just don't want to sell? Get over it..
