I'm managing Monpellier.
I have the opportunity to sign in January 2015 a talented young player without spending for a transfer fee (end of contract, joining in june).

The player is Sergi Roberto, a 22yo centre midfielder playing for barcelona with very good potential, but not so great for barca's world class level so they didn't renew his contract.

He has the "plays short simple passes" PPM, which i think is a big disadvandage for the role i want him to play (playmaker), so my question is...

Is it difficult for the player to unlearn this ppm?
It's something i haven't try before so i need your advice...

it's a great ppm for the barca style, no doubt, but it should be easy to get rid of, give it a shot.

I just checked Iniesta and Xavi.
They both have "plays short simple passes" along with "tries killer balls often"
I thought that these two PPM couldn't co-exist in a player.

I'll sign the player, his potential is high.

Thanks guys.
