Gael Kakuta signs new deal at Chelsea

Gael Kakuta has signed a 4 and a half year deal at Chelsea keeping him at the club until 2015.

There is no dout this lad has talent but at the moment has failed to show it when given a chance at first team level. But i do feel he will come good especially with us not spending as much now days.

tbf still young and can improve but I agree he was over hyped

Tbh I think he is going to become one of those players who are meant to be amazing prospects but just flop. He's been hyped up way too much so there is loads a pressure on him and so far he hasn't lived up to the hype.

He is over hyped mainly because of the **** we went through to sign him, also he won player of the tournement in the Euro U19 Championships in the summer i believe where he absolutely tore the tournement up with France.

At the moment we are trying to play him as a winger but i believe his best role is just behind the striker and we dont play that system.

Jury's out for me, hes best as an AMC, chelsea dont play one so its hard to see where he fits in. I still chuckle that Kylo said he was going to be better than wilshere

Over-rated player from what i have seen, defiantly not worth the hassle Chelsea went through to sign him
