"Game cannot save"

I've looked everywhere and people don't seem to be having this problem!?

I get the message "game cannot save" when attempting to save as, in the editor and during a new game.

I've tried to install the game through steam and offline but get the same error. I've updated to the newest patch, didn't help either!

My laptop doesn't need defragging if that was a possible solution.

I've had the game since christmas and hardly played it because i cannot work out this major frustrating issue!!

ANY help is greatly appreciated!!
