Game just stops...

When I get to the date 23/10/13, the game just stands there, eventually I have to go to task manager and close it...

It isn't the database because I made another save and I passed the 23rd November date easily. Tryed to verify game cache and still didn't worked

Please help me!

managed to solve it by deleting preferences folder.
