Game keeps freezing! please help!

Hi im new to the forum, but would really appreciate some help regarding my game. I am currently with Dagenham having reached league 1. However when i continue my game progress everytime i reach the 1st june 2018 my game freezes, and its always that specific date! The disc has no visible scratches, so i would appreciate if someone who has experience of this could help me please.

Your save game may have become corrupt (happens regulary, especially with long term saves). If that is the case then you may be scrwed unfortunately. Try starting a new game to make sure it's definelty your save. You could always try loading your game from slighly earlier date (if you have 1) and try playing and see if u can get passed this date.
 
yeah i have tried loading a game from a previous save and it still is not able to get past this date. If i start a new game then i will start in 2009 whereas the problem occurs in 2018, which is frustrating. How has my save become corrupt. Thanks for your help its appreciated! MOT

Just keep going on holiday until 2018.
 
yes I know what I am saying is your save game may have a file that has become corrupted which is stopping you from advancing your game. Unfortunately there is no fix so you have to start a new game. It's not a fixed date that always gets corrupted it just randomly happens sometimes. sorry.
 
wait to just before the date it crashes and holiday for two weeks :)
 
yeah i have tried the holiday tactic, still no luck. I guess it's just a dodgy save which is very annoying! Thanks for all your help.
 
very annoying that hopefully SI will somehow sought out but it's hard to stop long term saves becoming corrupt. Just make a new 1 and do even better ;)
