Game pausing when minimised

Does anyone know why this happens and if theres a way to turn it off?

Its really, really bugging me cause I minimise a lot during games. Specifically if I've conceded or the games pretty much over. On a few very rare occasions it doesn't, but mostly the game pauses while its minimised.

Can anyone shed some light on this problem?

I don't really know what to say except, yes it does work. I always play in windowed mode and regularly switch to intenet browsing or itunes etc etc, the matches never pause for me.

Does anyone know why i can't play in windowed mode?

You can try pressing alt+enter in game to go into windowed mode. If not adjusting your resolution should allow you to select windowed mode from the preferences menu.

This happens to me, if you change it to window mode, when you can see the taskbar; it will no longer pause, and you can minimise and let the game play.
