game save could not be loaded? possible corruption?

I played from march until the following september on my save last night, and now when i try and load the save it says 'the save game could not be loaded'. I thought it could be down to something such as a lack of disk space but i have freed a lot of disk space by uninstalling microsoft office etc. Does anyone have any suggestions it is EXTREMELY URGENT!

any help asap would be much appreciated.

yeah i do have the vo2,vo3 save etc but the version 2 takes me back 8 months to the january before.

Ahhh well looks like you'll have to repeat the last 8 months all over again :/ Better than losing it completely I guess

You should make a manual dual save by saving it using a different file name, and then back it up somewhere else on your hard drive.
