Gareth Bale cannot seem to score one on ones! He always shoots straight at the keeper, and gets a corner. I have tried to make him place his shots in the corner of the next, but it didn't work. I play him as an AML, Winger Attack.

Could try getting him to pass instead of shoot, or 'round keeper'?

Otherwise get his composure / finishing up. What numbers does he have for those?

Yeah, get his composure and finishing up. Or start the "shoots with power" PPM so that the keeper can't react to his shots.

He does waste alot of chances for me but then again so does my main striker but in the end he still delivers, Bale manages 20 goals and assists a season for me but in my opinion just make him pass instead.

I used Bale for 3rd season now. He's score on average 15-20 goals a season.

I agree he's not good at 1-1 too but he's so good at counter attack game.

I play him as LB, so he doesn't have many one-on-ones, but he delivers a lot of assist. Just let him play on the left side (hug touchline), and let him cross a lot.

His finishing is 14 and composure is 15.

I think it´s better use Bale as left defender, if you want a winger, try James Rodriguez or Junior Stanislas
