I have bought gareth barry for man city for 27m (i know) i amk trying to get the best out of him but he is not doing to well only 2gl 3ass in 27 games!! here is his intructions;

mentality = full
creative freedom = couple bars in much
forward runs = mixed
run with ball = mixed
long shots = mixed
through balls = often
cross ball = mixed
free role = no
zonal marketing.

Any Suggestions??? :S

Back on subject, It depends where your playing him but if your playing him as MC (as he should be being played), I would make it something like this:

If he's your defensive midfielder playing as MC, which Barry can do very well:

mentality = |___|____|
creative freedom = |__|_____|
forward runs = Mixed
run with ball = Rarely
long shots = Rarely
through balls = Rarely/Mixed
cross ball = Often
free role = No
Man Mark
Hold Up Ball

If he's your attacking midfielder playing as MC, which he can do just as well as MC i'd play him something like this:

mentality = |_____|__|
creative freedom = |___|____|
forward runs = Mixed/Often
run with ball = Mixed
long shots = Rarely
through balls = Often
cross ball = Rarely
free role = Yes

Try and give either of them a go, which ever suits your role and let me know how they go. The first one is kind of like what I play Senna as, next to Fabregas, who is my play maker. It's just a pity you cant have 2 Barry's to have one playing defensive and one attacking :p
