Alright lads, I'm going to give the Pentagon Challenge a go and thought I'll update my progress.

For anyone of you who don't know what the Pentagon Challenge is, well....

What is The Pentagon? Well its this, you start unemployed with a Sunday League reputation and you try to win all five continental Champions Leagues(European Champions League, South American Champions League, Asian Champions League, African Champions League and North American Champions League) in one save game.

Anywho, I've already finished my first season so will post it under in a minute.

I'm not one to write loads about my football manager career, but will post screenshots and a little write up.

Thanks for reading and I hope you can follow me on my remarkable challenge, Gary.

Season 1: The start of something special.

After starting the game unemployed I was quick to send my CV's off to alot of teams and awaited there reply. I was soon approached by a fair few teams, but after alot of talking with my family I decided the move the South Africa was best for me and took the MP Black Aces job. Looking around the MP Black Aces team they had some good young players and also a few players worth a bit of money. The only down side to the this team as the wage budget, currently over spending I had to balance my books out before signing players. I decided to save on money I would try and get a couple of players on loan from the big teams and that's what I did.

Now onto the review on the season. The season couldn't of been any better for me, winning the league and cup and also losing in another final. The main part of my success was down to my star player, striker Myron Shongwe, who had a great season.

As said before winning the league and cup was the real highlight of my season. The cup final win was very special for me as we battled hard playing with 10 men for most of the game, also the league was again very special as we won it by a fair few points. Despite the disappointment of losing the the other cup final, I was mighty pleased with me teams effort against a team in a higher league.

Right that's my first season's review over. After a great first season I will be looking forward to the upcoming season. I'm not expecting my team to win the league next season, far from it. But I do expect them to gave it a real go in the top league and battle for a mid-table finish. After promotion last season the board has given me 122k to spend on new players and has also up my wage budget so I'm now not over spending on wages. With the money I'll have next season I'll be looking to buy players to raise not only the clubs reputation, but mine as well.

Thanks for reading, I look forward to posting again and the end of this season.

Looking back on this season it was a very good one but could have gone alot better. We had early success by winning the SA KO Cup. League success seemed on the cards but thanks to late injuries and bad results meant that we finished 3rd. Even though I'm disappointed we finished 3rd after it looked as we could win it, I'm very happy with how the season went. Winning another cup and finishing so high in the league after just getting promoted was great. My only real concern is that the squad hasn't got enough strength in depth. Some points in the season we was having youth players on the bench due to injuries. One real highlight on the season was the signing of Ezenwa Otorogu on a free transfer, he went onto get 18 goals in 24 league games which help us keep our place near the top. After a great season this term, the board has given me 100k to improve my team for the next season. We've already got a few players set to join when there contracts have expired and I feel with the players coming in and the money to expand the depth and quality in the team, I feel we could go onto win another cup and even believe we've got what it take to win the league this time.

Thanks for reading, hopefully I'll be writing about a league title win next time.
