Gay players

I have a save with barnet and i recently signed a player who was released by chelsea. He's 18 and his name is nathan white, after start 5 games and scoring 5 goals he came out to the media as gay! This is the first time i've seen this, but i've heard rumours that if a player comes out as gay, that it boost shirt sales. Does anybody know if this is true?

Yep- you get a merchandising boost. Not sure it will be by much at Barnet but every little helps
