Geographical stadiums.

was just wondering, say if Blackburn had a new stadium could they ever have a 90,000 seater packed seeing as its a small town with less people than that in, compared to Manchester. So what im saying is can you fan base only adapt if your in a big city so you can get big stadiums or does it not apply on the game?

I'm not sure about new stadiums but I know if you try and expand existing stadiums the request often gets refused by the council due to there not being enough space.

on a related note, if you were to take a team from a place with a population of 100 people would that go up as your team got better so some of the fans moved to the town making it bigger?
