Georgy is fantastic athlete, was an amazing player last year for CSKA, some people know him, some dont at all, he is rated to be as good as Evra if not better. He possesses all the right stats to make it in the top tier of World Football and is available for around 7.6 million in the 1st season. A must buy for most teams.

I went CSKA for a while and he was a consistent, steady, reliable defender.
Well worth the money especially at his age
 
Heard of him through Fifa and he was good for me on that, so i'll definitely give him a look in this :)
 
Once again, on my CSKA save he is quality. Quite obviously the best left-back in the team and in the league too. I play him as a full back with support duty, gets few assists a season. Very consistent, doesn't get in trouble.
 
had him on an old save for united was quality cost me 9m gets quite few assists(H)
 
He was immense in fm10 but I couldn't find him on fm11. Do you have to load the Russian league?
 
He is really good in real life, I only use him when playing as CSKA though.

I normally put as "playable" for all the extra leagues I load up :) I would assume that he would show (on a large database as well) as he is quite an important 1st team player, however, I would suggest loading as playable, there are great players in Russia ;) (and just to be safe as well)
 
He's hardly somebody new, like Raikan said in OP he had a great season LAST SEASON
