I have been wondering for some time the answer to this question, can football manager ever be completed? I have heard rumors that the game finishes after 50 seasons, does anyone know if this is true? Still totally addicted to FM 2010 and cant stop, im 24 seasons in with 83 trophys to my name. Love it

Not that I know of but there will probably be a bug in it that stops you like in PacMan<)

It goes way over 50 seasons because I think ctall played around 70 seasons with Spurs on FM10. Never heard of anyone actually completing the game which I don't think is possible due to constant regeneration of players and coaches.

70 seasons thats amazing, I did think about starting the game unemployed and just pressing continue I gathered if I reached the age of 100 I could assume the game goes on forever. But that would take a life time to do. Not being ableto complete the game is not good news for my girlfriend

Ah thanks, are you playing with united then? How are you getting on? Dont know about alonso for the title btw, he is prob the best driver but I just wanted hamilton to win so bad. Shame its all over for him now

Does your manager not just die off old age and get a minute silence with all the clubs you have managed?

You would think lol I cant imagine being a manager aged 100! That will be really strange

The game stops your age at one point, don't remember what age it is but I believe someone was talking about your age never changing from then on. It just keeps regenning players and staff, forever, and your save file continuously gets bigger and bigger with the more stuff that's in it. Meaning that, yes, there would be an end. Once your save game reaches such a size that your comp can no longer run it. Which would be like over 1000 years into the game, meaning no one will probably ever reach anywhere near that much.

Even then, some people's comps would still be able to run.

I think there's no end to this game as ctall reached year 2084 and it never end there.
