German league, team II not in league

Hello fellow managers,

I'm into my 2nd season with an RB Leipzig save, and halfway through 1st season I asked board to set up B team, team II, to which they agreed. Team was set up in the summer, before 2nd season, but it partakes no league. I'm not sure how to add it to a league once I finish 2nd season, or if I automatically get an invitation. Does anyone have any ideas? I had no invitation to a league before 2nd season started.

I had the same thing with my Kaisersautern II team, the only thing I could do for 3 seasons was to keep arranging friendlies for them.
I had it set for the team II manager to arrange friendlies but he never did so I had to arrange them myself
