German National team problems

I am struggling to get the real players in the german national team can anyone offer any help how to get it?

I followed all the instructions to get to the right place steam/steamapps etc... then when i get to 1600 i have deleted the edt and Inc files (backed them up elsewhere)

is this correct?

Your game probably updated to the newest version, and thus created a 1601 folder in addition to the 1600 one. You need to delete the relevant files in this folder as well
