Basically, I took over Brighton when they at the end of season 1, after watching them get relegated, half their team left, so I took the job looking to re build them, and get in some youngsters for the future.. but this is ridiculous.

I sent my scout to Germany to scout for Under 18 players with 3* or more potential. Granted, being in League 1, 3* isn't amazing, but the amount of 4 and 4.5 star potential youngsters is astounding, and the craziest thing? They have all been released by their club, and are on free transfers. I have snapped 11 of them up, one of them is labled the next Kevin Kurányi and is in my 1st team getting experience. It's just crazy! Has anyone else found german regens seem to be amazing and released? My scouts/backroom staff are all pretty adamant that all the 4*+ players will be good Prem players in the future.. Granted they aren't the best backroom staff, but I mean, the players all have massive potential, you can see it when you look at their profiles!

This guy isn't even a regen, not the player face not being generated, and he is rated 4.5 stars and was released?!

Here is my regen in the 1st team, also off a free.

So have any of you found anything similar? or any country that is doing a similar thing? I think the regens this year are all of a better standard, but I mean, players like this, on a free and signing for League 1 sides seems a bit unrealistic?

Ok, and just found this guy as well.. I mean.. seriously?! He's just signing for me now! 5* potential..

Not that I am complaining, just seems really weird?!

I've yet to finish my first season with Deportivo, however, I've seen a few south american regens, and I'd say they start off better with theirr stats but many have less progress potential compared to FM11, but that may just be me being critical. Interesting talk point though!

My United scouts, have come back with two 14 year old regens, who will turn into leading prem stars, so Germany defo a good place to look at for regens.

some awesome players there :) Overath looks like a new Marcos Reus :)

I have only just got my new intake of youth as Utd (March 2012) and there is one good player that is touted as the next Kevin Davies :P lol

I found a French 14yr old Regen that could be the best player in the game if handled correctly coming in from Monaco for £1.4m!

I shall take a look at this later! I prefer real players though :) but when I play Gladbach next this will come in handy

at the end of my second season with blackpool, i had them promoted to the prem firstly then finished 15th next season, i got recommended two german players who were 17 and 18 and they were ridiculously good with leading prem potential, so germany seems to be on fire

Do you have German leagues loaded. I have found a lot of 4-5 star talent at the end of season one, but I have Germany active and they haven't been released. I've spent 15million on 7 15 year olds

No, I only have England, Italy and Spain loaded. Maybe that is why they are all being released. Seems a bit crazy though? I have signed a few more scouts and am sending them out across europe, going to see if Holland/France will be the same.

I Know that you guys all know Chivas produce good regens occasionally but after looking at a 2020 save, I dare say Chivas got a mahoosive boost on the good regen spectrum in terms of more of them.
