Hi guys, Im Notts County and im in the premiership.
My stadium capacity is 32,000 or something like that.
I have recently asked the board for a stadium expansion and they have said no because the council will never let it happen.
The home matches are sold out every match so we have alot of support.
Just wondering, will the board just build a new stadium in a different location ?
And will they do this, only if I do well in the league.

Ok, cool.
Notts County have so much money so I wouldnt see why they would not.
Every Season they expand the stadium or make the training grounds better, so now they cant, they might just build a new one.

I have the same situation, i'm Fulham and i have 30,000 stadium which is sold out every game but i cant expand anymore because of the council. Last season i won the league, champions league and F.A cup and even though i have funds to expand im unable to and also cant request for a new stadium to be build.... :@

Ok:
Champions Cup x1
Euro Cup x2
Premier League x2 (Runners Up x1)
Coca Cola League 2 x1
Coca Cola League 1 x1
Coca Cola Championship x1
Community Shield x2
FA Cup x1
League Cup x2 (Runners Up x1)
12th best team in the world
Really rich club

YET THEY STILL WONT BUY A STADIUM !!
SOMEONE GIVE ME A GOOD REASON WHY !!

mate third year in the prem with brentford, still cannot expand upon 15,000

we qualified for the europa league and won the carling cup very frustratingas we sell out too butI cannot improve it :(

They said that the average attendance is like 31,800 or something like that.

31,800 out of 32,000 I think is pretty **** good. JUST GIVE ME A NEW STADIUM !!

Not every club can get a new stadium, there is not enough space to build a new stadiumin the city is one of the most used excuses ive heard from the board.

Myself just got a new stadium named after me with 77.0000 capacity which makes it the biggest stadium in EPL at the moment,Im spurs btw

I get the same message with Newcastle. Although the board are unwilling, as I already have a 60,000 stadium, which I fill every week. Even got 55000 in FA Cup against Stockport....

man, same problem with Derby.

my stadium is frequently filled to its 44000 limit, yet they say we can't have any more additions because of the council.... those dicks.... :(

I seemed to have the opposite... i am East Stirling, just got to the Scotish Prem and my first season in there, i was playing at another ground as a temporary as they built a new stadium during that season. I had a new very rich owner and i got told they were building a stadium with a retractable roof, undersoil heating and a capacity of 139,901!!!!! how does that work?! i got 70,000 against the old firm, but the rest are pretty low currently

bollocks

May have something to do with the times in which we live, recession and all. You don't see a whole lot of stadiums being built at the moment do you? Valencia and Liverpool just stopped building theirs abruptly. Although if your finances are through the roof that does sort of negate that, of course.

The Notts County owner is rich as and they give me like 80-90m budget every season, so building a new stadium should be easy :/

Also, Tottenham are gonna be building a new stadium soon ;)

So does anyone know any stategies, tactics etc to get a new stadium ?

I have the same problem with Rapid Bucharest. The stadium is ridiculously small, only 10.000 seats. It's filled up 95% of the matches (league matches, every european match is a sell-out) and when I request a new one, the board tells me that the council will reject the expansion every time. What can I do to improve my chances of getting a new stadium? I have won Liga I and Romanian Cup twice in a row, playing my third season in Champions Cup, got to the quarter finals of uefa cup last season (1/8 season before). My finances are always secure, approximately 15-20 M euros per season.

All you can do is keep winning things, keep getting sell outs and dont spend all your transfer budget and make sure you are well within your wage budget, other than that I dont know of anything else you can do, sorry :/

These things are really out of your hand, they depend on a few things but most importantly:

1.Your Finances
2.Your trophy cabinet sine you took over
3.Your fan support

Even then they sometimes will not give you a new stadium

In my tottenham game the board has built two new stadiums one was the hoddle park 75,000 and then they built the tall arena 104,874
