Hi Guys,
Just wondered if I have just got very lucky here, or if others find, they can get players who I would say are good but not world class to play well above what is expected of them.
In my first year at West Ham Noble by ratings was the second best player in the whole Premier League, only Van Persie was ahead of him and he was rated at £15 million by the end of the season! I also found players such as James Collins, Etxeita and Ricardo Vaz Te proved to be regular players in my side due to them doing so well. While players like Andy Carroll seemed to be disappointing. I managed to finish 6th which in my opinion is a lot higher than expected of the players (and myself, I'm no football manager god that is for sure!)
Now in my second season I've grabbed some cheap options such as Ben Arfa for free and Jack Hunt from Palace and both of them throughout pre-season looked promising and hoping they can take that into the season ahead.
Does anyone else feel that if they work on it, their players can end up performing better than even you think they could?
