Getting offers from other clubs

Hi people,
was just wondering if renewing your contract by only a year makes other teams not want to offer you the managers job?
Started with Mansfield, first 2 seasons won league 2 and league 1. Now 9th in championship with 3 games to go, yet when "bigger" teams sack their manager i'm never in the running for the job.

Sadly the whole system of clubs having interest in you is messed up. Clubs have never approached me before, i always have to declare interest or apply for the job. Even so they can still hire a low reputation manager ahead of you which does not make any sense. Another issue is the game wants you to be a Hall Of Fame manager then "big teams" will start to take you seriously
