I bought this wonderkid from Shakhtar, he's been scoring goals for fun (63 in 83 professional appearances). How would you work him into a single striker formation? I tried working him into some cup games in my current 4-3-3 wingers formation and he didn't do very well. OL (where he's on loan now) and Shakhtar both played him as the lone striker in a similarly arranged 4-3-3 and he dominated.

Deep-lying forward - attack, or Target man - attack, although he would be very well paired with a poacher who can feed off his aerial abilities.

Deep lying forward support, good passing and strength, he'd supply a poacher/advanced forward well :)

I guess what I'm asking is, what instructions/role is he being used in by the computer teams. Both Shakhtar and OL are using him as a lone front man in a 4-3-3/4-5-1 and it's obviously working for them, but I don't know how to get similar production out of him on my team. I've not had much luck working out tactics for a lone target man; I usually tend towards pacey lone forwards.

In April in my current game, he's got 25 goals in 30 games, but only 5 assists for OL, so he's not being used to supply anyone, he's just powering them in himself.
