We were on the verge of a utter disaster. October had us all but locked into top spot but first a defeat in Turkey then we found ourselves a goal down to Man City at half time. Thankfully summer signing Morini & a goal in the last 15 minutes from Van Der Laan mean we go into the final game 2 points clear at the top against the weakest team. Surley!

Sadly the clock has beaten me on this story. If i had started with this story rather than stating with Sheffield Wednesday then i could have gone the whole way but on top of that i've personally had a ridiculously busy year thats also got in the way more than ever. Hopefully next year i can get more time with the game.

However i couldnt let this story end like this. Like i'm sure the rest of you want to see how these guys career's end up so when i've got time i'll sim a season and post a short update of what happened and what they did. End Of Season 2023/24 Review




In Serie A we have our 3rd best season breaking 100 points for the 4th time and finish up 6 Serie A titles short of Juventus. Speaking of Juve they added another 2nd place finish joined in the Champions league by the ever improving Atalanta who's youth system seems to be paying off. Roma who had been in and out of the Champions league return at the expense of Inter who seemed to be getting closer and closer to us but fell apart this year. Pescara became a top 10 team and next up Carpi may be thinking about doing the same. Lazio were usually around the European spots just missing out this season. Fiorentina were hopeless almost getting relegated a few times. This seasons biggest failures were Udinese who can look back at a few champions league appearances rather than this years 14th place.
It was only right that Atletico the most successful Spanish club in the save with a 6th title in 9 years. Real Madrid finished 10 points back tied with Barcelona having there best season in almost a decade while Valencia showing little change in Spain except Barcelona never winning a Champions League or even a La Liga title
Man Utd beat Man City by a point as Manchester takes over from a decade of London domination with 5 wins for Chelsea and two for Tottenham with Man City picking up 1 title. Arsenal were in and out of the top 4 while Liverpool were usually looking in from the outside
The crazieness that is the German League threw up 1 last shock winner. Wolfsburg beat of favorites Bayern and Leverkusen by a point to become the 4th different winners. Bayern won 4 titles to Leverkusens 3 with Dortmunds 2016 win a long way in the mirrors

Carloni is without a doubt the no1 striker for us now. Lorenzo had a spectacular 1st season while behind him Capek starts to look like our main RB with De Scigllo's injury record. Guzman was spectacular once again keeping Morini on the bench
