As Gibraltar only got UEFA membership in 2013, they have not had a superstar of much recognition yet, but that is about to change with Shane Matthews, a player fresh out of the Leo Parrilla youth academy and the hottest prospect a team in Gibraltar has every produced. Can he lead Gibraltar to international recognition?

Season 1: 2013/14:

Very successful first season for the youngster with 16 goals in 29 games, 13 in 20 league matches and 3 in 9 cup games. Leo Parrilla won the league by one point down to Matthew's goals. He also got 2 goals in 7 under 21 caps and as a 14/15 year old that is amazing.

It's the first season so I'd suggest he's just a player that he created, especially since there isn't anyone in Gibraltar that has those stats, let alone at the tender age of 14
