GIRP, the new QWOP?

Just been sat there for 10 mins trying to swing to the next letter/hoop, got 2.4m, my fingers kill :'(
 
Got to 5.5m and gave up, could have gone further, but meh.
 
How the **** do you play it :O Where are the instructions :S
 
you move by pressing (and holding) the letter of the corresponding ring that you can reach and then to lift the guy up you either left click, press shift or press cntrl. the instructions are on the page he linked to in the top right corner of the game just before you click to start.
 
I got to 9.something.

Does anybody have a link to the QWOP thread? I hadn't heard of it before but this thread has got me playing it.

Very annoying I knocked him off the one I was going fo then he flew to one near it and then when I jumped I hit him again and he went back to the one I wanted to get on in the first place.
 
Omg i can't even get the second one :@

from roughly 9 although i didn't encounter him on my last go until roughly 11 as i went around him then hit him with my foot.

My college class got addicted for like 2 weeks when I showed them QWOP. There coursework is gonna be ****** once I show them GIRP :D
