Am I the only one that doesn't use a GK sub in games? I've played a total of 15 seasons since FM09 and I've never had problems with this, never has my main goalkeeper got inured in a game. It's really nice as it leaves with an extra slot for subs and I find it much better that way. The only times I use my GK sub is in League Cup and FA Cup games, or in any other games which I am 'sure' to win.

Haha 90% of the time I dont take one! I would rather an extra outfield player. Only bit me in the *** once or twice, usually fine though
My subs are usually:
1. CB
2. Full back
3. Defensive CM
4. Attacking CM
5. Left Wing
6. Right Wing
7. ST
If my GK does ever die which I've only ever seen happen once and it wasn't my GK, I'll just throw in a random player and carry on.
Only time I do take one is if I'm playing a cup game and I'm using a backup GK, I'll take my main GK along just incase the backup one fails hard.

6 - winger
7 - striker i didnt use gk subs before but once joe hart got injured well a knock, so put a player in lost the game :/ never risked it again!

I NEVER used them but once in a Spurs save Gomes get injured so I put Tom Hudlesstone on his place! He was my biggest sub so i thought that he will cover most of the goal, but he did not I concede 3 and finished 3-3 after leading 2-0 vs Blackpool

Always put one on the bench, until recently I only had 2 goalkeepers after my 3rd complained about no 1st team chances. Then my main goalkeeper gets a month injury forcing my back-up keeper who is merely a prospect for the future, nothing more, has to take up no.1 spot. Until he gets injured on international duty as well.
Lucky for me though, my first team goalie recovered from Sports Hernia the day before.
