Gladbach help/Noob at tactics

Hello!

I am halfway through my first season as Gladbach and i have encountered some problems. The tactic i have made have had no sucess at all and i need some help, i have the original starting squad as gladbach with the addition of Ola John from Benfica. Im currently sitting at 13 in the table and I cant get my tactics to work at all. Both of my strikers are goaless the last 10 matches and combined they have scored 5 goals.

Can anyone help me create a new tactic or make the one I'm using better? Im going to post it below.

Im using a 4-2-3-1 with Fluid and Attacking

I have tried all kinds of different instructions and player roles but i cant get it to work..
Right now my insructions are: Work ball into box, Use tighter Marking, stay on feet, Stick to positions and More direct passing.
I have no idea what im doing, please help!

Are you creating chances? If not it could be because your striker is too isolated. Is your striker any good in the air? Or strong enough to challenge for balls into the box? If not playing with wingers is the wrong way to go. Try switching Raffael to AM with an attack duty OR switching your wide men to IF.

I did a game with Gladbach as a trial just to see which tactics were good and which weren't

I used the WonderTac 4-1-2-2-1 from FM Scout which worked really well.

It would involve you dropping Raffael and your AMC role for a Defensive Mid but it worked really well.

Other thing I did was on the Left Winger, it is set as Winger & the right an Inside Forward. I swapped these around so the Left handside was the IF and the Right handside was Winger as I though Kruse at AML would be better as an IF oppose to Hermann.

Im at work at the moment so can't screenshot but my team was:

AMR Hermann
ST de Jong

Did One season, Finished 3rd and Won the German Cup. de Jong finished 2nd Top scorer with 22 Goals, Kruse got 17 and 11 Assists and the football was enjoyable so I recommend at least giving it a try.

Looks great, it was so frustrating playing Raffael at AMC when playing bad every time.

Thank you for posting this awesome tactic, it really helped me turning the season around! I went from being around 13-16th in the league to finishing 9th 2 points from 8. My strikers actully scored some goals and instead of doing the boring 0-0 and 1-1s I won. Thank you!

Using the tactic BradzleyB highlighted with Gladbach, dominated pre season against average opposition with just one slip up. Just starting the season now.... will keep you posted.

Finished third and won German Cup in first season with a balanced possession based tactic. Kruse is unbelievably good as a false nine. Hermann and Raffael banged them in from Right Winger and AM Shadow Striker too. Amir Younes is a beast IF too...scored a wonder goal against Bayern in a 3-0 win!
