Guys, there's an issue with manual marking when you play vs formations which have wing backs instead full backs.

I don't know why and I can't fix it but against such formations your right striker manual mark the right opposition wing back instead of the left wing back so you have to go to the tactic menu and set your right striker to mark the left opposition wing back.

If you use the mirror version then set your left striker to mark the right opposition wing back.

Please notice that the opposition can change its tactic/formation during the match so you should always track what formation the opposition uses.

P.S. Yes, it's rare to see that AI uses formation with wing backs but still... if you miss it than it can cost dear...​

Mate, I would go for it… also long time ago I made a huge tip about it and put it to the OP where I explained all possible advantage of such move… just go to the OP and read it… nothing has changed since.

So are you saying sell all my right backs I'm using Oviedo as left back and baines right back

You should sell your right footed full backs only if you can get the same quality left footed full backs.

Oviedo at the left and Baines at the right is a very strong setup. I suppose you have trained Baines to have "Accomplished" rating for the DR position? Also don't forget to remove "Dribble Less" PI from him(you should do that only when you have a left footed player for DR position).

Where did you get that DL should be right footed? If you use the normal version then only DR should be left footed(DL should be left footed too) and only when he has "Accomplished" rating for DR position... you shouldn't use a left footed player on this position at any cost(when he doesn't have "Accomplished" rating or he is much worse than your right footed player for this postion).

I'm training both of them to do it but it's taking time but if I play them there before they are used to it they will learn it quicker or I hope they will but I'm doing ok and next season be even stronger

Yes, that's correct... but please notice that you shouldn't rush thing and use a left footed player on DR position at any cost... for example, when he doesn't have "Accomplished" rating for DR position(before you should train him to play DR position till he reaches "Accomplished" rating for DR position) or he is much worse than your other right footed player for DR position.

Haven't noticed this yet, altough I play a lot against wingbacks in Italy. Still unbeaten with Juve Stabia in Serie B with around 10 matches left. Will look into this in future matches.
 
Chelsea=1st season (Glory v4)

Hi again guys,
I've abbandoned the AC Milan test(it wasn't a long save,just a test) and started a Chelsea save to test this tactic with the right players...
It worked pretty nice,excellent result,really dominating my opponent,but i really dunno what happened to the Arsenal match,i was about to lose,but thank to Neymar,i taked 1 point...dissapointing,but,that's the life
However,a very good tactic.

Hyde United, The 1st season, Predicted 6th, Vanarama North, No Transfers.

Here you can download the game save and check in the game status menu that the game was saved only 1 time(so it wasn't possible to replay matches) and no editions were made -----> Hyde Vanarama North

I put ZERO efforts into this save and even a monkey can do that :) :

1) I didn't know who were my players because I didn't inspect them.
2) I didn't make any loans/transfer
3) I leave to pick the team to the assistant manager

The only what I did: I set the corners takers, OI and Match Pre. Focus and I always put a right footed player to play ML position because the assitant manager always was putting a left footed player to play there.

It took me about 30 min to finish the season, I smashed only 2 buttons "Quick Pick" and "Instant Result" during all the season and I won the league with 17 points advantage... so when I hear that someone tells "cool" stories about how he is struggling in the lower leagues... and about that there's no tactic that works in the lower leagues... and you need some "special" tactic for the lower leagues... I always try to understand why he tells all that bullshit... is he a troll or "very offending word" here :P

P.S. it's about 10 times easier to play in the lower league then any extremely competitive league such as Liga BBVA or English Premier League and I'm able to win the lower leagues even with default tactics from the game...

- tweaked dribbling for B2B and AMC positions


Guys, I very recommend this update it gives solid buff to attacking build-up play. ​
