Goal Difference Not Working

Loaded La Liga in 2019, but the league sorting rules are busted. Seems the goals scorved vs goal difference has switched...look at 16 points teams and 10 points teams. WTF SI? Anyone know of a fix for this as it could be the difference between Europa and Champions League come the end of the season! :'(

La Liga is sorted between results between teams before GD, like in the Champions League. If you look at the 2 teams on 10 points, it isn't sorted by goals scored :)
 
I've often lost of on Champions League Football because of this rule. I like it though to be honest as it means that wins become more important than points and top of the table clashes matter that little bit more.
 
Ahhh now that makes sense...

how have I never noticed this before? (In RL and in the game!)

Liga BBVA very really needs to be decided on results, as outside the top 6 it is extremely even
