Goalkeeper regen

Just started my 3rd season with Sheffield United and found a goalkeeper regen who I can buy for £14 million, i've never been good with keepers gone for big names or what my assistant recommends. But was wondering if anyone thinks this kid could turn out good, and if he is worth £14 million
My scout is only potential and current ability 13 and says he will be 5 star

He'll be a quality keeper, but for 14million?

Surely there's some-one better around for cheaper.
 
I'd say buy him,even if you gotta use 48 month installments.The lad is quality and will be a legend in your club.
 
I have bought him, gone slightly over my wage budget.
I've dropped down to 17th in league and leaking a lot of goals so waiting till January to get him to try and avoid relegation.
 
The goalkeeper will be legend,those stats at 17,if he stays in the club for the career he might even break records for appearances.
 
I've got Fraser Forster at the moment, he's been called up to England squad but hasn't played...we are probably leaking goals cos I've got a poor defence as well.
 
Why £14m? Your scout says 9.75 - were Man City being bellends?

With stats like those at 17, like everyone else has said, he will be a world class goalkeeper within years.
 
I first bid £9.75 million but they rejected, then I offered it again with percentage of next sale and they rejected it again and came back that they wanted £16 million so I just offered £14 million which is all I had, and they accepted.

That wasn't smart, you probably could've gotten it down to 12-13M
