Goals in open play

I seem to be struggling with goals from open play. However, I'm scoring lots from corners but thats not how Man Utd should be playing.

Any ideas on how to get my team scoring from open play?

Set your Free Kicks and Penalties and Corners to the worst tactical instructions you can think of. After that, 100% of your (minimal) goals will be from open play

Liverpool: Torres 65 goals (42 in EPL)

Atletico Madrid: Forlan 64 goals (48 in La Liga)
