The Season Begins

Now these match reports are more detailed then the freindly matches

L: Plymouth Argyle 0-2 Gillingham Lauri Dalla Valle 2 Adam Campbell 42 Home park was the venue for this quite frankly 1 sided match Lauri Dalla Valle provided a spring board for this very confident display from Gills as his Goal was unstoppable form About half-way into the Plymouth Half Then Adam Campbell scored a classic goal that was his first senior goal in his first senior appearance aged 17 Plymouth Hardly had any shots so as quoted by Basically Everyone "The better team won"

C1C: Gillingham 1-2 Ipswich Town Deon Burton 31 2 Ipswich goals either side of Deon Burton's Screamer Meant That Gills Despite Having more Shots Were dumped out of the Capital one cup

L: Gillingham 0-0 Fleetwood Town Not boring like most other 0-0's Gills had 28 shots Fleetwood had 21 and we had 78% possession Fleetwood had only just won 4-1 over Dons The points were deservedly shared

L: York City 0-1 Gillingham Adam Campbell 17 this was a very boring game with 8 shots between the 2 teams but only 2 were on target both by gills 1 a goal Deserved win that gills needed

L: Gillingham 3-3 Rochdale Charlie Lee 2 Adam Campbell 14 Chris Whelpdale 82 left Rochdale 3-2 down in the last minute But 2 goals left Dale Beating the Gills But only 1 of those counted meaning that Points were shared at Priestfield This Result was not very useful for either team

JPT: Gillingham 4-2 AFC Wimbledon Adam Campbell 7,61 Lauri Dalla Valle 18 Adam Barrett 34 Gills Progressed At the expense of the Dons who were ****

Dobson Press Conference
Sky Sports: and we will now go to the Interview for Gillingham manager James Dobson
Reporter: first of all congratulations on the 2-1 Win over Northampton
Dobson: Thanks
Reporter: How did you feel when you went 1-0 Down?
Dobson: Rubbish I felt like I was going to get the sack as the chairman Paul Scally released a statement on Monday saying "as a board we have decided that if we suffer another defeat tommorow against Northampton then we will have to let Dobson go" so I thought Gillingham don't want me it was awful
reporter: What do you think will happen, be honest?
Dobson: They will sack me
Gillingham PA: That's enough everyone out
Sky sports: ... Well that was an abrupt end to that press conference so Matt what do you think is going on?
Matt Le tissier: I think they will part ways
Sky sports: you didn't answer my question
MLT: I think they will sack the manager which i think is happening now
