Okay. I would just like to get your thoughts on when it is the ideal time to sell a player to ensure you can earn as much as possible from him. What age would be a good age to sell a player? I am still unsure, so far I am swaying towards 28ish but I am still not too sure. Thanks :)

1. Depends on position.
2. Depends on natural fitness.
3. Depends on if they player is still performing to a high standard or not.

Oh, and I never sell my team legends, I just can't let them go.

Same, Heskey was in my Villa team till he was 40

the oldest (generally) you can sell a player and make a profit or money off him is around 32yrs old! 28 is when 99% of players are in their prime, so why would you want to sell a player when he is in his prime and 2-3yrs left of it as well :)

it does depend on many things, if he is playing regular 1st team football his value will still be quite high in comparison to him sitting in the reserves then trying to get rid of him in comparison to selling him for profit :)

I tend to use this as a guide but not gospel as these rules do bend from time to time:

GK: Cant really say for keepers, look at Van der Sar & Friedel in real life. I would swing towards 33-36 yrs old.
RB/LB: 30-32 yrs old
CB: 33-35 yrs old
LW/RW: 31 yrs old
CM: 32-34 yrs old
ST: 32-34 yrs old
